In this section, you can view, update, or renew the SSL certificates for domains added to your cPanel account. Additionally, you can check the details of the certificate activated for a specific domain.
Important: The most common action on this page is selecting the top checkbox in the domain list, which activates all domains at once. Then, by clicking the “Run AutoSSL” button, you can enable the SSL certificate. It’s not necessary for the padlock icon to appear on every line—sometimes, you may see a crossed-out circle instead!
CAA Records in the DNS Zone
Certificate Authority Authorization (CAA) records in a domain’s zone control which certificate authorities (CAs) are permitted to issue certificates for that domain.
If no CAA records are present for a domain, any certificate authority can issue certificates for it. If conflicting CAA records exist, remove the existing ones or add a new record for the desired provider.
You can manage and configure CAA records via the Zone Editor interface.

AutoSSL Selection
To manage whether AutoSSL includes a specific domain, you can choose between several options. If you want a domain to be included when AutoSSL runs, select the checkbox for that domain and then click Include during AutoSSL. To exclude a domain, select the checkbox and click Exclude during AutoSSL. If you wish to trigger an immediate AutoSSL process, click Run AutoSSL. The system will notify you that AutoSSL is in progress, and the SSL/TLS Status page will refresh once the process is completed.
The Domains Table
The Domains table lists all domains and their corresponding certificates. Using this table, you can view or update a domain’s certificate. Next to each domain name, two icons may appear: Unsecured and AutoSSL Domain Validated. Additionally, you can get more detailed information about the certificate’s status, such as its expiration date. If you click on the View Certificate link, you’ll be redirected to the SSL management page. You can also click on Exclude from AutoSSL to remove the domain from the AutoSSL process.
The table also provides options to Upgrade Certificate or Purchase Certificate, allowing you to update or buy a new certificate for the domain. If you haven’t installed an AutoSSL certificate or configured AutoSSL to use a certificate, these options won’t be visible.
