Rackhost provides default nameservers for each domain. If you wish to change these, you can do so through your Rackhost user account.
Log in to your account and select Domains from the admin interface. Click Details next to the domain you want to modify, then select Change nameservers.
Next, choose from the pre-configured DNS profiles or create a new profile tailored to your needs.
It is important to note that you can only change the nameservers if the system doesn’t return an error when entering the desired nameservers. If an error occurs, the system won’t allow the change until the issue is resolved. Nameserver modifications are only possible for domains that are conditionally registered or fully registered.
If you encounter an error while changing nameservers, contact the owner of the new nameserver for assistance.
To modify an existing nameserver profile, go to the Domains page and select DNS Profiles. You can create a new profile by clicking the Create Profile button or set one as your default nameserver profile.
