Sync with Your Gmail Account:
Click on the icon in the top right corner.
Select the Settings tab, then go to the Accounts and Import menu. In the Send Email From This Address: section, select Add Another Email Address. In the pop-up window, enter [email protected] and follow the steps below:
- SMTP server: smtp.rackhostmail.com
- Username: the full email address ([email protected])
- Password: the password associated with the email address, in this case [email protected]
- Port: 465
- Select Secure connection using SSL (recommended)
After clicking the Submit Authentication button, an activation email will be sent to [email protected]. Open the email and click on the activation link provided.
You can now send emails from your Gmail account using [email protected]. (When composing an email, remember to select [email protected] as the sender.)
If the mail server has changed for an already set-up account, select Edit Details and follow the steps above, then click Save Changes.
View Your Mailbox Emails in Gmail:
Click on the icon in the top right corner, go to Settings > Accounts and Import, and click the Add Email Account option next to Check emails from other accounts:.
Enter your email address and click Next. Then select Import Emails From My Other Account (POP3) and click Next again. Enter the following settings:
- Username: the full email address
- Password: the password associated with the mailbox
- POP server: pop3.rackhostmail.com
- Port: 995 (SSL)
- Select Secure connection using SSL (recommended)
Adjust any other settings according to your preferences. If you want to read your emails from another mail client, make sure to select Keep a Copy of Downloaded Mail on the Server.
Finally, click the Add Account button to finish.
IMPORTANT: By default, Gmail checks for new mail every hour. Gmail’s algorithm may later adjust this frequency based on the volume of incoming mail, but you won’t have the option to increase it manually.
