Set Up Your Email Account in in OSX Mail:
First, on the OSX Mail homepage, select Mail next to the Apple icon, then click Add Account.
In the pop-up window, select Other Mail Account… and click Next.
Enter the sender’s name in the Name field, the email address you created with Rackhost in the Email Address field, and the password in the Password field. After filling in the required information, click on the Login button.
Additional configurations will appear where you need to select either POP or IMAP as the account type. We recommend using the IMAP protocol. For more information on the differences between the two, see our Knowledge Base article.
To configure the mail server successfully, enter your email address, username (use the full email address in both fields, e.g., [email protected]) and your password. Then enter the mail server address, which you can find by selecting Emails in your Rackhost account and clicking on Mail Client Settings.
If all settings are correct, click on Login to start sending emails.
