Set Up Your Email Account in Outlook 2019:
First, go to the File menu on the Outlook 2019 homepage and select Add Account.
In the pop-up window, enter the email address you created with Rackhost in the Email Address field. Click on Advanced Settings and select Manually Set Up My Account. Then, click on the Join button.
Next, select either the POP or IMAP icon. We recommend using the IMAP protocol. For more information on the difference between the two, see our Knowledge Base article.
In the Account Settings pop-up window, enter your server settings. You can find these in your Rackhost account under Emails by clicking Email Client Settings. We recommend changing the encryption mode to SSL/TLS for secure email transmission. This will require adjusting the ports from the default values. Once you’ve entered all the information, click Next to finish configuring the account.
If all settings are correct, click Ready to start sending emails.
